Warehouse construction or distribution-center construction can be one of the more demanding projects a construction company can face. Fire codes, drainage, location, square-footage costs and site access. These are all issues that, if overlooked, can challenge even the most seasoned project manager, especially on a distribution center job-site. That’s why we make absolutely certain that every critical detail is checked and checked again.
Below is a list of warehouse new construction project examples:
GCM also has experience in the construction and management of Controlled Access Environments (Clean Rooms) for medical device manufacturers and other tenants that need clean space for manufacturing. We can manage projects from small soft wall installations, versatile modular systems to large permanent hard walled rooms. We also provide plans for clean room validation and clean room preventative maintenance of the HEPA filter, HVAC and humidity control and other systems that comprise these manufacturing environments.
Clean rooms are commonly used in manufacturing, research, and development in fields such as:
Having a contractor with the knowledge and experience in the construction or remodeling of a medical building is essential for ensuring the project is done correctly, while meeting the deadline. GCM understands that these projects need to be conducted with great care and attention to detail.
GCM Removed the interior wall to move the MRI machine in. They then reconstructed the wall and insulation. In addition a power upgrade was needed for the new MRI machine

A existing building that was home of a restaurant and bar was reconstructed into a state of the art dance studio facility. GCM Construction worked side by side the customer from day one of purchasing the building to opening their business in their new facility.
The restaurant including a full kitchen, salad bar, three separate dining areas, and a bar needed to be removed.

GCM takes great care during the demolition of a project to donate as much as we can to organizations such as Habitat for Humanity. As we do demolition we sort out metals and other recyclable materials and dispose of these properly instead of adding to landfills.
